Miyuki Nagai-Gubser is a Japanese artist currently living in Zurich, Switzerland. Her subject matter has been influenced by forms of nature, physical anatomy, and emotional states since being diagnosed with a chronic illness in her 20s. Consequently, the works combine biological forms with graphic expressions of various emotions and physical senses through bold colors and organic shapes.
Her current project is called “Mindmap,” a collection of abstract paintings that convey raw human emotions from memories
