An der letzten Biennale in Venedig hat der in Mexiko City lebende Künstler Damián Ortega einen VW-Beetle in Teile zerlegt und wie ein Mobile in den Raum gehängt. Die Kunsthalle Basel hat ihn für eine Einzelausstellung eingeladen. Zu sehen sind zwei skulpturale Installationen, in denen sich Masse und Grundstruktur, Destabilisierung und Konstruktion gegenüberstehen.
