Der Kunstclub Hamburg, eine private Initiative, die über den reinen Ausstellungsbetrieb hinaus auch Vorträge, Kurse und Führungen anbietet, hat dem in Hamburg lebenden chinesischen Maler Kailiang Yang (*1974) seine erste Einzelschau ausgerichtet. Unter dem Titel «Um den Kirschbaum» präsentiert er stille Interieurs und Landschaften und zeigt eine insgesamt verblüffend reife Position, die um Fragen nach zeitgemässem malerischem Realismus kreist.
