generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked" - der berühmte Anfang von Allen Ginsbergs Gedicht "Howl" ist nur nach intensiver Suche auszumachen in dem Meer von bunten Textpostern. Nach einem Radiovortrag hat Allen Ruppersberg die Verse phonetisch übertragen und auf die monumentale Wand im Kinosaal der Düsseldorfer Kunsthalle gebracht. Allen Ruppersberg zählt zur ersten Generation amerikanischer Konzeptkünstler. Das folgende Gespräch wurde im Rahmen seiner Ausstellung "One of Many - Origins and Variants" geführt.
