Der belgische Künstler nutzt simple Bau- und Dekostoffe wie Beton, Gips, Karton, Teppich und ordnet sie zu temporären Arrangements. So führt Van Gestel, der als Performance-Künstler begonnen hat, Elemente aus skulpturaler und performativer Arbeit zusammen.
