Kunstverein ist nicht gleich Kunstverein, das gilt nicht nur in der Schweiz, sondern auch in Deutschland. Stolze 240 von ihnen sind in der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher Kunstvereine (ADKV) vereint, die als Dachverband die gemeinsamen Interessen vertritt. Und das ist mitunter keine leichte Aufgabe - auch wenn diese klar abgesteckt erscheint.
Der Badische Kunstverein, 1818 gegründet, ist der zweitälteste Kunstverein in Deutschland.
