Schon häufiger haben Korpys/Löffler das Prinzip Behausung, den Rückzugsort des Individuums als Gegenbild und Projektionsfläche für gesellschaftliche Räume gedeutet - etwa in «Studio 77», 1997, «Ruhleben», 1999, oder «Konspiratives Wohnkonzept Spindy», 1998-2001, einer Auseinandersetzung mit der Geschichte der RAF. Mit ihrer Installation im Sprengel Museum haben sie nun das eigene Atelier modellhaft zur Schnittfläche von Werk und Wirklichkeit in medialer Repräsentation gemacht.
