Katrin Plavcaks (*1970) Malereien setzen sich mit Einsamkeit, der Zurückgeworfenheit des Menschen auf sich selbst und der Verwandlung von Dingen auseinander. Sie erwecken den Eindruck, in einer neofigurativen Tradition zu stehen, die ganz bewusst nicht in Richtung Abstraktion geht. Das malerische Vorgehen wirkt auffallend mutig und frisch.
