Der aus Griechenland stammende Jannis Kounellis (*1936 in Piräus) pflegt eine im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes gewichtige Kunstsprache. Dementsprechend füllen derzeit Tonnen von Kohle, Stahl und anderen Materialien die Hallen des Kunstmuseums Liechtenstein, um das dualistisch aufgebaute Werk des seit 1956 in Rom lebenden Künstlers im Rahmen einer grossen Retrospektive zu dokumentieren.
