Die gegenwärtige Debatte in der Zentralschweiz zur Frage, ob es künftig in Luzern noch die Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst (HGK) geben soll, schwemmt schon längst tot geglaubte Zweifel an der Rolle einer solchen Institution hoch. Der Rektor der betroffenen HGK Luzern, Nikolaus Wyss, äussert sich im folgenden Beitrag zu diesem Thema.
