Scharf ausgeschnittene Silhouetten, verdichtete Strukturen, auf die drei Farben Rot, Schwarz und Weiss reduzierte Farbigkeit und eine etwas bedrohlich anmutende Stimmungslage zeichnen die Arbeiten von Carlos Amorales (*1970) aus, die er in den letzten Jahren ausgehend von einer Sammlung von visuellen Bausteinen, dem «Liquid Archive», entwickelt hat.
