«Markenzeichen» des in Bern lebenden Wallisers sind Bilder mit Rhomben-Gitter, die den Ort des malerischen Geschehens in ein Davor und Dahinter unterteilen. Die Ausstellung in den «Halles» zeigt indes, dass erst der Gesamtkontext den Kunstraum erfahrbar macht, in dem sich Vincent Chablais bewegt.
