Construite dans un parc légèrement indiscipliné, la villa Bernasconi à Grand-Lancy s'annonce par ses façades néoclassiques d'un rouge qui rappelle les maisons des chemins de fer italiens. Ce n'est pourtant pas ce cheval de fer que fait réson-ner Denis Savary dans la villa mais les sabots des chevaux du grand Ouest.
