Bei einem Berlin-Aufenthalt 2005 hat sich die Malerei von Conrad Steiner verändert. Die organisch-ungegenständlichen Bildräume konkretisierten sich und wurden zu geheimnisvollen Städtebildern. Die von Markus Stegmann für das Museum Allerheiligen kuratierte Ausstellung zeigt den Wandel.
