Die Sammlung des Fotomuseums Winterthur begann 1913 bei null. Seither ist sie auf viertausend Werke von vierhundert Künstlerinnen und Künstlern angewachsen. Bedeutsamer als diese Zahlen sind aber die inhaltlichen Grundsätze des Sammelns und die damit initiierte Bilddiskussion.
