Gips ist zum bevorzugten Werkstoff von Miriam Sturzenegger geworden. Sie setzt ihn für architektonische Installationen, für Abgüsse vorgefundener Gegenstände und als unkonventionellen Bildträger für Zeichnungen ein. Die Resultate sind reduziert und - im Gegensatz zum Material - keineswegs spröde.
