Er selbst spricht von einer neuen Lust an der Malerei. Jedenfalls ist festzustellen, dass die Malerei von Kotscha Reist zupackender geworden ist. Was nicht ausschliesst, dass auf diesen Bilder-Bühnen Abwesenheit immer noch eine wichtige Rolle spielt: Die Erzählung ist erahnbar, wird aber nie erzählt.
