Einem grossen Publikum hat sich Anna Jermolaewa erstmals 1999 bei der Biennale Venedig vorgestellt. In Harald Szeemanns Ausstellung «d’apertutto» zeigte die 1970 in St. Petersburg geborene Künstlerin auf drei Monitoren Grillhendl beim Rösten. Zur Wienerwald-Werberin liess sich die in der Donaustadt lebende Russin allerdings nicht abstempeln.
