Die Prägung nationaler Eigenheiten spielt für junge Künstler keine Rolle. Ihre Bezüge sind grenzüberschreitend. Das heisst nicht, dass kulturelle, an Herkunft gebundene Erbschaften verschwinden. Sie sind aber desto schwieriger zu erschliessen, je universaler die medialen Formvorgaben werden. Zu diesen gehört Fotografie.
