Mit Bildern, welche vor einem Jahr im Kunstraum Burgdorf zu sehen waren, hatte sich Corinne Bonsma einen Schritt weiter von den, wenn meist auch nur mehr zeichenhaft anwesenden, ausserbildlichen Referenzen entfernt. Sie waren bisher ein Mittel, die Leinwand – ornamenthaft – zu strukturieren und die Beziehungen von illusionistischer Tiefe und materieller Oberfläche zu untersuchen. Ein Vorgehen, dass die Künstlerin nun ganz aus der Malerei heraus weiter vorantreibt.
