Mit der Ausstellung «Moving Pictures – Fotografie und Film in der zeitgenössischen Kunst» findet die internationale Foto-Triennale in Esslingen bei Stuttgart bereits zum fünften Mal statt. Während die erste Triennale 1989 noch ohne Titel einen repräsentativen Querschnitt durch die zeitgenössische Fotografie präsentierte, versucht sich die diesjährige Ausstellung ganz unter den Stern des Kinos zu stellen.
