Die Farben und Materialien – Teer, Lack, Gummi, Marmoran oder Beton – tragen zum Schauspiel bei. Unwillkürlich – durch materiale Reaktionen – zu seiner Oberflächengestalt Gelangtes, spielt darin ebenso eine Rolle wie das behutsam Intendierte. Zufall und Perfektion fliessen ineinander. Die von der Berner Künstlerin entworfenen Szenerien werfen Fragen auf nach Materialität und Technik, nach der Gattung Malerei oder Skulptur.
