Sibylle Omlin is an art historien and curator and lives in Valais and Zurich. From 1996 to 2001, she worked as an editor and art critic at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Between 1999 and 2017, she teaches theories of the arts (ZHdK, Zurich University, University of Constance) and has developed an activity as professor / director at the University of arts and design in Basel HGK /FHNW, and she directs the ECAV University of Arts of Canton Wallis in Sierre till 2017. Rich activity in art publications and exhibition commission. In 2018 she returns in writing with focus in public space/landscape, performance, art in digital age and oral history in contemporary art.
