Collection Cahiers d’Artistes 2021

The publication of a first monograph can be an important stepping-stone on the way to an international career. Thanks to its Collection Cahiers d’Artistes, based on a selection by a jury and published once every two years, Pro Helvetia enables emerging Swiss artists to benefit from such a publication. Designed in close collaboration with the artists themselves by design studio Bonbon in Zurich, the monographs include a text by a renowned art critic. Collection Cahiers d’Artistes was launched by Pro Helvetia in 1984. Since 2006, the collections have been published by Edizioni Periferia.

Visual artists who fulfil the following conditions may apply for the Collection Cahier d’Artistes 2021.

They need to

• be Swiss citizens or permanent residents in Switzerland for at least four years;
• have no published monograph about their work yet;
• have a convincing artistic track record;
• have the potential to make their mark in an international context.
