Why did you apply and what will you do if you win the Schweizer Kunstpreis?
It became a tradition that I apply to the Schweizer Kunstpreis, and if I would win, I will go on a horse-riding trip through Kirghistan. Also I would be able to rent a larger studio in Berlin for my work, which would be great.

What is your favourite work of art?
Apollo and Daphne, made from one block of marble by Bernini. When you knock on the sculpture, the leaves of marble are shaking, its so fine and amazing. Unfortunately you are not allowed to do so at the Villa Borghese. 

Where do you come from, where are you now, where are you going?
I come from a tiny village in the Canton of Vaud, where my dad was Sheriff for 16 years. I'm currently hunting on a Safari in South Africa and I will be going to wherever new wild frontiers are presented to me in the future.
