THE COMPILER SCREENINGS

The Compiler Screenings will be presented at the Stadtkino in Basel. We are interested in giving a curatorial focus to borders and boundaries in 2016. We will be working each year with a guest curator or institution interested in the dissemination of video art. Together, we will present to the public, productions exploring the spectrum of curated thematics. The program will also travel from Basel to our partner’s cities each year.

White Frame is also partnering with the Basel based company Tweaklab AG, which produced four editions of their DVD project Compiler.  We are carrying on the spirit of the initial project: its next editions will be presented in a different screening format and archival medium, transformingCompiler into The Compiler Screenings. Each edition of The Compiler Screenings will be available online on White Frame's website a year later.
