Sitting on an edgy edge

Tunnel Tunnel vous invite à l’ouverture de l’exposition “Sitting on an edgy edge” de Davide-Christelle Sanvee et Vicente Lesser le vendredi 3 décembre 2021 dès 17:00. Une activation de la pièce de Davide-Christelle Sanvee aura lieu à 18:00.

Davide-Christelle Sanvee et Vicente Lesser nous parlent de la ville, de comment on l’habite, de comment elle est faite – par qui et pour qui. Iels disent les architectures, les textures, les détails oubliés. Iels racontent un lieu, ses structures, ce qu’il dissimule et celleux qu’il cache. Iels révèlent les chemins tracés, les coins aménagés, les espaces agencés, puis réveillent les potentiels et renversent le regard.

Davide-Christelle Sanvee (*1993, Suisse / Togo) est une artiste basée à Genève. Elle est diplômée d’un Bachelor en Arts visuels de la HEAD – Genève (2016) et d’un Master du Sandberg Instituut à Amsterdam (2019). Elle est lauréate du Swiss Performance Award 2019 avec sa performance “Le ich dans nicht”. Récemment, elle a montré son travail à E-flux, New-York ; Duplex, Genève ; Fondation Ricard, Paris ; Aargauer Kunsthaus, Aarau ; Istituto Svizzero, Rome ; DeSchool, Amsterdam ; Candyland, Stockholm ; Belluard Festival, Fribourg ; Centre Pompidou, Paris ; Urgent Paradise, Lausanne.

Vicente Lesser (*1992, Suisse / Chili) est un artiste basé à Genève. Il est diplômé d’un Bachelor en Arts visuels de l’ECAV (2015) et du Work.Master de la HEAD – Genève (2020). Récemment, il a réalisé une installation in situ permanente pour le Théâtre St-Gervais à Genève et a montré son travail à Stattelkammer, Berne ; Lokal-Int, Bienne ; Archivio Conz, Berlin ; Les Halles, Porrentruy ; Centre d’Art Contemporain, Genève (Bourses de la Ville de Genève 2021) ; Live in Your HEAD, Genève ; Halle Nord, Genève (Bourses déliées 2021).

Tunnel Tunnel invites you to the opening of the exhibition “Sitting on an edgy edge” by Davide-Christelle Sanvee and Vicente Lesser on Friday 3rd December 2021 from 5 pm onwards. An activation of Davide-Christelle Sanvee’s piece will take place at 6 pm.

Davide-Christelle Sanvee and Vicente Lesser tell us about the city, how it is inhabited, how it is made – by whom and for whom. They say the architectures, the textures, the forgotten details. They talk about a place, its structures, what it covers, and who it hides. Davide-Christelle and Vicente reveal the traced paths, the arranged corners, the defined spaces, then they arouse potentials and reverse the gaze.

Davide-Christelle Sanvee (*1993, Switzerland / Togo) is an artist based in Geneva.
