Taken Apart & Put Back Together Again
Based on a prior agreement of engagement, the artist sent daily a question to Lawrence W. and during seven consecutive days, with the request to answer it on the same day. Before midnight of the same day, he would tacitly transcribe his answer either as a text or drawing with a pencil on a sheet of paper, erasing it afterwards. They continued this daily process for the agreed duration of the agreed days on the same sheet of paper. The artist promised that tangible traces of the questions he asked and the answers he received will be destroyed after the seven days. No written trace will therefore remain beside the A4 page and the memory of the question/answer collaboration stored in their heads, this constituting the shared experience.
