Georg Baselitz zählt zu den bekanntesten zeitgenössischen Künstlern. Anlässlich seines 80. Geburtstags würdigen ihn sowohl die Fondation Beyeler in Riehen wie auch das Kunstmuseum Basel mit einer grossen Retrospektive. Die Rollen der beiden Häuser sind dabei sehr ungleich verteilt.
