«Türe offen lassen» – nach «Die Verdoppelung der Möglichkeit» (1988) entwickelt Anselm Stalder sein Werk ein zweites Mal durch die Raumflucht der Kunsthalle Basel. Auch «Index 2» im ersten Saal ist nur eine Anspielung auf das Register einer möglichen Retrospektive, wie «Index 1», der gleichzeitig in der Galerie Friedrich mehrere Arbeiten aus verschiedenen Zeiten verbindet.
