Mit ihren Fotoarbeiten und Kurzfilmen sind Teresa Hubbard und Alexander Birchler inzwischen auf internationalem Parkett präsent. Die von ihnen entwickelte Bildsprache spielt mit Konventionen des «Grossen Kinos» und ist auch stark von Bezugnahmen auf bildende Kunst geprägt, erinnert im Gestus etwa an Arbeiten von Jeff Wall oder Cindy Sherman. Die Galerie Munro stellt das Werk des in Austin, Texas, lebenden Künstlerpaars jetzt erstmals in Hamburg umfassender vor.
