Das Bellerive-Museum beherbergt seit 1968 die Kunstgewerbesammlung des Museums für Gestaltung Zürich. Es hat sich mit einer dichten und vielfältigen Ausstellungstätigkeit einen internationalen Namen gemacht. Im Rahmen der Sparmassnahmen des Kantons Zürich wird nun eine Umnutzung diskutiert. Doch bevor sich allenthalben neue Begehrlichkeiten regen, hier ein Plädoyer:
