Das Werk Daniel Bersets durchzog bislang eine fast heilige Scheu vor dem Medium Malerei und der menschlichen Figur. Es sprang zwischen Grafik und Plastik, Collage und Installation hin und her und handelte zwar stets vom Humanen, doch vor allem von metaphorischen Auslotungen jenseits des Körpers.
