Im Zentrum der Ausstellung stehen Werkgruppen der 1930 in Schlesien geborenen Solothurnerin Anja Hutter; malerische Verdichtungen in Farbe. Dem relativ kleinen Werk stehen zwei jüngere Positionen gegenüber: Die repetitiven Zeichnungen der Zürcherin Lucia Coray und die Linie und Raum vernetzende «Malerei» der in Zürich wohnhaften Solothurnerin Susan Hodel.
