Die in Berlin lebende chinesische Künstlerin Qin Yufen entwickelt seit 1988 Rauminstallationen, serielle Anordnungen einfacher vorgefertigter Gegenstände, zum Teil in Verbindung mit verschiedenen Klangquellen im Raum. Ihr Repertoire an Objekten umfasst oft eine Kombination aus westlichen (Gebrauchs)gegenständen und Materialien aus dem traditionell östlichen Kontext.
