Fast alle Werke von Maix Mayer (*1960 in Leipzig) beziehen sich auf Momente seiner Biografie. Doch er illustriert sie nicht, sondern nimmt sie zum Anlass, ihren Zusammenhang zu erschliessen, der das objektiviert, was Mayers Imaginarium möglicherweise prägte. Daher sind seine Ausstellungen ein Remake, das sich auch dieses Mal um ein Objekt zentriert.
