Berlin – Paris. Maike Freess pendelt zwischen zwei Hauptstädten. 1965 in Leipzig geboren, erhielt sie ihre Ausbildung in Halle und in Paris bei Christian Boltanski. Im Mai 2001 widmete ihr das Centre d’Art Contemporain in Ivry-sur-Seine eine umfassende Ausstellung. Unter dem Titel ‹Hallucination› zeigt sie bei Charlotte Moser eine neue Installation mit Fotos, Zeichnungen sowie einer Wachsskulptur kombiniert mit einem kleinen Video.
